Nordiska musset which translates to The Nordic museum, is a museum located in central Stockholm,Sweden. This is a museum with magnificent exterior and enticing interior. This museum includes the cultural work and its history of Sweden from 16th Century till now. This museum was built before with an other motive. This was first built for another purpose, but later it was used as museum. The founder of this museum was Artur Hazelius, who also founded open air museum Skansen. The part of the museum shown above is called onion dome. This is one of the famous tourist attractions in Stockholm. They also have above 6 million photographs from 1840s to today. For the construction,brick and granite was used for the walls,while concrete was used for the roof. It takes its style from Dutch influenced Danish renaissance architecture,buildings like Frederiksborg Palace. The museum research library contains 3,800 shelf meters of literature from 16th century on wards. The Swedes are immensely proud of their culture and heritage.
